The Role of Our Care Team Our dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) are trained to provide both practical assistance and emotional support during this sensitive stage of life. With a combination of skill, empathy, and respect, we work closely with patients and their families to: • Relieve discomfort and manage symptoms such as fatigue, pain, nausea, and anxiety • Preserve dignity while supporting daily routines • Enhance quality of life, allowing individuals to focus on meaningful moments with loved ones Our Approach We believe end-of-life care should not be filled with unnecessary pain or distress. Instead, our goal is to ease symptoms, reduce stress, and create a peaceful environment. Whether it’s helping a patient maintain independence, ensuring they feel safe and cared for, or providing comfort to family members, we strive to make this time as gentle and supportive as possible. Additional Support Services Alongside palliative care, our team can also assist with: • Supporting personal safety and mobility • Preparing meals and drinks • Light housekeeping and taking out the garbage • Collecting prescriptions and medication reminders • Grocery and household shopping • Companionship and emotional support for patients and families At Comfort Life, we are honored to walk beside our clients and their families during this journey — offering comfort, care, and compassion every step of the way
